He will then appear with you in court on your behalf, speak with the police officer involved and give you his final evaluation and opinion of the case based upon the facts and the law. You then decide whether you want Mr. Adams go forward with a hearing and try to get the charges against you dismissed outright, or attempt to negotiate the best deal possible.
